Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career in the field of acting the theatre. Her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 when she played Mary who was the very first actress of The Life. [8][9] She has also appeared Off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's show Merrily We Roll Along (1994), and Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). 3][10] In 1995 she made her TV debut in a recurring role in"The Other World," an NBC daytime soap show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. The actress guest-starred in the show Law & Order in 1997 and 1998 in two different characters. Her debut came in 1999 with a role in Black and White, a crime-drama. Then she appeared in numerous independent films. In the early 2000s, Young started to appear as a guest star on a number of television dramas and comedy series, like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young has appeared on over thirty television series between the years 2000 to 2011. Young was a regular cast member in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes, the program was cancelled after just one season. She played Deputy Dist. in The Lifetime series For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, in the NBC period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. She also appeared on NBC's Scrubs as Dr. Grace Miller in 2004 and as the assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), and in the ABC premiertime soap opera Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family.
