Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding rapidly pushed her into the top charts once she was noticed by people in the year the year 2010. She was able to achieve this feat with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary musician with her distinctive singing voice that is soprano and the ability of creating songs that are catchy and emotional. Her style is similar to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists of the same ilk. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she started preparing for the release of her debut album.
